SENIOR EDITOR (VIDEO)
6–7 Years | Worli, Mumbai | Reports to: Business Head
About the Role
Video is central to how Dojo Marketing's digital wing will deliver for clients. The Senior Editor leads the edit function end-to-end across a multi-category roster spanning retail, FMCG, D2C, and lifestyle. You'll set the editorial and visual standard for all video output, manage the mid-level editor, and be a key creative collaborator in the wing.
What You'll Do
● Lead video editing across all content types — Reels, campaign films, brand videos, event edits, and product content across multiple client categories
● Define and maintain distinct visual and editorial styles for each client's video output
● Collaborate with the Art Director on motion graphics direction and reel aesthetics
● Brief, review, and mentor the mid-level editor — holding the quality bar and driving their development
● Handle colour grading, sound design, and final delivery across platforms and formats
● Manage edit timelines and delivery schedules across a multi-client environment
● Stay ahead of format trends — Reels, Shorts, long-form — and keep the team's output current
● Contribute to new business pitches by demonstrating video creative capability
What We're Looking For
● 6–7 years of professional video editing experience with a strong digital and social portfolio
● Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
● Strong command of pacing, storytelling, and visual rhythm across short and long-form content
● Solid colour grading and audio mixing capability
● Experience managing multiple edit streams across clients or brands
● Demonstrated experience directing or mentoring a junior editor
● Reliable under tight turnarounds without compromising on quality
Good to Have
● Experience across FMCG, D2C, lifestyle, or retail brand video content
● DaVinci Resolve proficiency for colour work
● Motion graphics capability beyond standard After Effects
● Comfort with drone or aerial footage editing
