Live project

Showcasing the outpouring of participation and reinforcing Hindustan Times’ enduring connection with India and its people.

We created My Country, My Lens, a nationwide photo contest that invited amateur photographers to capture India through their own perspectives. Entries were invited across four categories: Rivers of My Country, Borders of My Country, Monuments of My Country, and Communities of My Country. The response was overwhelming, with over 8,000 diverse and striking entries submitted from across the country. Twelve winning photographs were recognised and awarded by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit. The campaign film brought together the scale, emotion, and reach of the initiative, showcasing the outpouring of participation and reinforcing Hindustan Times’ enduring connection with India and its people.
